On Wednesday, our grade 1 entrepreneurs took a walk on the wild side with an educational and entrepreneurial journey to Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park! The day was packed with heart-racing moments of discovery. Our young learners got up close and personal with some of nature’s coolest predators – learning all about reptiles, holding real snakes and even getting to handle baby crocodiles!
Our grade 1s learned two important business lessons on this trip:
Facing a crocodile or holding a snake takes serious grit. In the business world, entrepreneurs face “scary” situations every day – like launching a new product or speaking in public. Our grade 1s proved they have the courage to face the unknown!
Croc City is a brilliant case study in entrepreneurship. The founders didn’t just build a park; they created a business that makes a massive impact through reptile education and conservation. They showed our learners how a business can solve real-world problems, like wildlife misconceptions, while creating viable economic value. What an unforgettable day of learning. We definitely have some brave future CEOs in grade 1!
