Raising tomorrow’s
entrepreneurs and leaders
Entrepreneur
At Radley, entrepreneurship isn’t an add-on — it’s worked into everything we do. We’re here to help parents raise the next generation of job creators, problem-solvers and big thinkers. By blending entrepreneurial principles with the IEB curriculum, we spark proactive, independent and creative thinking that prepares learners for life well beyond the classroom.
From day one, our learners are called entrepreneurs. It’s not just a title — it’s a mindset. Whether they’re running a cake-and-candy sale, pitching an English project, or building a real business idea, they’re encouraged to spot opportunities, take initiative, and turn sparks of imagination into action.
And then there’s the Radley “marinade.” The earlier children are immersed in the language, habits, and energy of entrepreneurship, the more naturally it becomes part of who they are. Over time, this marinade helps them see the world differently — challenges turn into opportunities, mistakes become lessons, and trying something new feels exciting, not scary.
At Radley, entrepreneurial learning is hands-on and never stops. Assignments, projects, and real-world experiences are designed to grow decision-making, confidence, and resilience. By the time our learners graduate, they don’t just know what entrepreneurship is — they’ve lived it.
The Radley journey
We guide our learners on three interconnected journeys from Grade RR through to Grade 12:
The personal journey
At Radley, we celebrate it all — the strengths, talents, and even the little quirks that make each child who they are. By helping learners understand themselves and what makes them unique, we build the self-esteem, empathy, and confidence that become the foundation for a strong sense of self.
The academic journey
Academics count — and at Radley, we take them seriously. But we also know there’s more to education than chasing marks on a report card. Our entrepreneurs aim high academically while also learning how to put their knowledge to work in the real world. Think of it like a mini business school: lessons don’t just stay in textbooks, they spill over into projects, problem-solving and practical experiences that make learning stick.
The entrepreneurial journey
Entrepreneurship runs through everything we do at Radley. From preschool right through to matric, entrepreneurial thinking is woven into every subject in ways that grow with our learners.
One moment it might be a playful classroom activity, the next it’s a real-world project with big ideas behind it. Along the way, our learners meet business leaders, entrepreneurs, and creative thinkers — so seeing opportunities and taking initiative becomes second nature.

entrepreneurial “sets”
entrepreneurial “sets”
Entrepreneurship at Radley is powered by three interconnected “sets” — the attitudes, mindsets, and skills that help learners thrive both in school and in life. Think of them as the secret ingredients we mix into every lesson. Each set covers plenty of qualities and abilities, but here are a few of the highlights:
Heart-set – cultivating resilience, empathy and personal responsibility, along with the self-belief and emotional maturity that help learners navigate challenges with confidence.
Mindset – fostering creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking, while also encouraging curiosity, adaptability and a willingness to learn from mistakes.
Skill-set – building the practical abilities needed for life and business, from communication and collaboration to financial awareness and project execution.
Together, these “sets” form the foundation of Radley’s entrepreneurial approach — developing not only what our learners know, but who they become.
